Stringybark firewood seasoned for at least 2 years.
This has been sourced either from the 10 to 20 trees that were felled when we cleared to build our house 5 years ago,
(and we have planted approx 250 trees elsewhere on our property to make up for those),
OR from trees and limbs that have fallen directly across our tracks/driveway.
Trees that fall in our bushland are left to decompose naturally where they lie, as they provide food and habitat for an abundance of wildlife.
Tasmanian Bluegum firewood is from our woodlot planted by a previous owner of the land, this resource will last for many years and we will gradually replace it with indigenous vegetation.
